Week 31!! The three-wheeled car will forever be in my heart

So there's these three wheeled cars that I've seen in Telford and Chorley, and I finally caught some pictures of one! This week was pretty funny. Sadly because of health reasons (he needed surgery I think, don't quote me on this) our district leader, elder Bode had to go home ðŸ˜¢. You will be missed elder Bode! Because of this, elder Webb is the new district leader and since there is an odd number of elders in the mission now, he was put in a trio with the Chorley zone leaders. The good news for him, is that he can still be the Blackburn elder because the zone leaders have a car. The good news for us is that since the elders are a trio, us sisters can use them as a free taxi service! No more going home late after ward meetings. A lot happened this week actually. We found a couple of promising new people (more on them once we get a lesson in), sister Gilland killed it in street display and found a bunch of people, and I got a stomach bug. I'm ok now though. Also I forgot to mention in my earlier emails, but the England Manchester mission has an actual theme song. Not the mission song that a lot of missions song. A real theme song. It's super cringy but I love it. It's called the EMM song. Look it up
This week's spiritual thought is on accountability! It's great to make goals, but the best way is to keep those goals is to stay accountable. I've learned as a missionary, that when I have another person doing the goal with me or helping keep track of my progress, it much easier to accomplish. Staying accountable keeps the goal on your mind and makes it more of a priority. Plus making and achieving those goals is a big part of our spiritual growth. Elder Russell M Ballard said:“I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don’t set goals in our life and learn how to master the techniques of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential. When one learns to master the principles of setting a goal, he will then be able to make a great difference in the results he attains in this life.” I hope that as we stay accountable, we will be able to reach our goals and the expectations of out Heavenly Father!
Funny stuff: We found a leahona that was made in China.
Some man on the bus was playing opera music really loudly and there weren't very many people so I started to pretend sing to the opera. I was really getting into it when I noticed a man in the front of the bus giggling at me. On the way out he complimented my singing. It was so embarrassing. Haha.
We spent one tea appointment talking with the family about how Willy Wonka was actually a serial killer. It was eye opening
Sister Thompson was running her hands through her hair and at that exact moment a bird pooped on her fingers. I tried to feel bad for her but it was pretty funny.
WE FOUND THE THREE WHEELED CAR
All the missionaries were 20 min late to the street display, but that's because we were blocked from the road by a religious street parade. It was really neat actually. They had banners, a band, and the school kids marched in there uniform. There wasn't an lds section though (it was catholic, prodistant, and church of England only).
Sister Gilland found this seemingly normal man during street display, but once we texted him he would just try to flirt. Sadly this happens a lot.
